raleigh police believe they have caught the man responsible in a nearly 20-year-old murder case. we spent today looking into how

that case. one is under arrest in los angeles where he was picked up yesterday and the other was arrested here in raleigh. the punishment for murder -- police say he was involved in a home invasion in this raleigh neighborhood.

warrants obtained say in 1997 he shot a 21-year-old man. police investigated what happened on varsity drive and save weiner committed to other unrelated crimes. he was jailed for robbery and kidnapping and released seven years later in 2002.

today in court weiner's public defender said since his release his client has made a life for himself with the wife, three kids and a job at a local dry- cleaning firm. based on that he's bond be set at $300,000. the judge disagreed.

he will be held without bond
